For selected markets, Mirasys also offers specifically designed solutions, which have been modified to fit the requirements of the end user. These solutions are built  either by adding specific features or functionalities in the basic VMS or through integration capabilities with other systems.

Specific features & functionalities

The modular architecture of Mirasys Carbon VMS allow adding of plug-in modules onto the basic software.    

In parking facilities, an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) module turns the camera surveillance system into an automatic access control and customer management system.

Integration with other systems

Real-time data communication between systems multiplies the effect of single systems. The open integration interfaces of Mirasys Carbon allow mutual control, data exchange and shared interfaces - all resulting in lower operational costs.

In the retail world, integration of video cameras with Point-of-sales (POS) systems and Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) gives excellent results in loss prevention.

ANPR reads automatically the number plates of entering and exiting cars.

All payment events are recorded with cameras and can be easily retrieved in case of an investigation
